About

MedPark is a 25-storey hospital on Rama IV Road, built for 550 beds and opening in stages, and it positions itself around complex and high-acuity cases. It says most of its specialists are American board certified or have comparable training abroad, and its home page displays a JCI certificate.

For women, the part that matters is the Obstetrics and Gynecology Center, one of about 60 centres. It covers routine and high-risk pregnancy, a long list of fetal medicine procedures, and gynaecology from screening to cancer surgery. Its delivery rooms open directly onto the NICU, and the hospital's critical care centre staffs ICU and CCU beds with one nurse per patient. Fertility treatment such as IVF or egg freezing is not described in the sources.

Emergency doctors are on site day and night with a dedicated CT scanner, ambulances and a rooftop helipad. Staff languages are not listed anywhere on the site.

Women's Health and OB-GYN Services

MedPark's Obstetrics and Gynecology Center, on the 7th floor at Counter D by the west lifts, is set up for pregnancies that need more than routine care. Screening and diagnosis include first-trimester screening, NIPT, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis and cordocentesis, and the delivery rooms lead straight into the neonatal intensive care unit.

Where a problem is found before birth, the centre lists fetoscopic laser for complications in twins, transfusions given to the baby in the womb, fetal shunts and surgery for spina bifida before delivery. For labour itself, women can use a birthing pool or a yoga ball, and gas is offered to ease pain.

On the gynaecology side the range runs from Pap smears and colposcopy through minimally invasive hysterectomy and surgery for endometriosis and prolapse to gynaecologic cancer treatment, HIPEC included. It is most relevant to women facing a complicated pregnancy or a diagnosis in the baby.

  • Fetoscopic laser and fetal surgery
  • Delivery rooms connected to the NICU
  • Birthing pools available in labour
  • Gynaecologic cancer care including HIPEC
